DECLARED MONUMENT
St. John Cathedral

St. John’s Cathedral, built in 1849, is housed in a series of the most precious architectural collections on Government Hill. The iconic Gothic window was remained intact for over a century, to witness the evolution of our beloved city.

No air-conditioning, but the ceiling-hung electric fans create a good breeze.

The oldest surviving Western ecclesiastical building in Hong Kong with its stunning yellowish cream facade stands out from its skyscraper neighbours.
